Comment(s): Penny Road Elementary School Park is located on the campus of Penny Road Elementary school in Western Cary for use by the public during non-school hours. Since its refurbishment in 2021, Penny Road Elementary School Park represents a collaborative effort between the Wake County School System and the Town of Cary. The park features one multi-purpose athletic field, a lighted baseball/softball field, two playgrounds, restrooms, a picnic shelter, and 13 acres of open space with a natural-surface walking trail and pond. Picnic Shelter available by Reservation on Saturdays and Sundays. Capacity 30.
